Cedarburg, WI, Basement Project
We recently finished this basement furnishing and remodeling project, including building and installing an entertainment center, cabinets, shelving, wine racks, walls, and doorways. All steel and woodwork was done in-house at our Milwaukee shop.
Entertainment Center / Gun Cabinets
This combination entertainment center / gun cabinet is built out of solid maple, has custom leather inserts in all doors and drawers, is LED-lit and all doors and drawers magnetically lock, requiring key code or card to access.
Shelving & Corner Cabinets
Three levels of shelves & two corner cabinets cover three walls. All shelves & cabinets are made form 1-inch solid maple, hand-stained & clear-coated with custom leather inserts on cabinet doors. Stainless steel bands along the shelf and cabinet edges are hand-drilled & painted.
Wall-Mounted Wine Racks & Wine Table
We created a new and interesting way to hold and display the client's wine collection while preserving some unique history. The wall racks were created from beams from a downtown Milwaukee building built in 1903 and the wine table was created from trusses from an old Coca-Cola bottling plant. All the wood was finished with hand-rubbed lacquer, giving it a protective layer.
Walls & Doorways
The walls are a unique rough-coat lumber walls created from ash and oak. Doorways and trim created using stainless steel, hand-painted and drilled.
